Solution -

∵ Volume of 1 cube = (Edge)³

= 4³ cm³

= 64 cm³

∵ Volume of cuboid = [ l × b × h ]

= [ 20 × 18 × 16 ] cm³

= 5,760 cm³

∴ No. of cubes

= Volume of cuboid/Volume of 1 cube

= 5,760 cm³/64 cm³

= 90

∴ 90 Cubes can be cut from the cuboid

Number of cubes = \frac{volume \: of \: cuboid}{volume \: of \: cube} \\

 = \frac{16 \times 18 \times 20}{4 \times 4 \times 4} \\ \\ = 90 \: cubes
