How many cubes of edges 4cm will be obtained on melting a solid of edge 12cm ?

Answer:

Volume of both cube should be equal

Volume of 4cm cube = L³ = 64 cm³

Volume of 12cm cube = L'³ = 1728 cm³

∴ No of cubes formed = 1728/64 = 27 cubes
