volume of cube of 8 cm = 8×8×8 = 512 cubic cm

volume of a cube of 4cm = 4×4×4 = 64 cubic cm

no. of cubes can be cut = volume division = 512÷64

answer is 8.

for easy calculation

(8×8×8) / (4×4×4)

cancel all 8 by 4.. so 2×2×2 =8.
