How many cubic centimeter of metal are there in an open metallic box whose external dimensions are 36cm, 25cm and 16cm the metal being 2cm thick throughout? If 1 cubic cm of metal weight 15g find the weight of open box.

outer volume = 36*25*16=14400ccm
inner volume =( 36-2-2)*(25-2-2)*(16-2-2)=8064ccm
volume of metal = 14400-8064=6336ccm

1 ccm = 15g
6336ccm =6336*15=95040gm
