3542 cm³ of metal will be required to form a hollow cylindrical tube with inner radius 8 cm , outer radius 15cm & height = 7 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Cylinder is hollow

so Volume of Metal Required = Outer volume of cylinder - inner volume of cylinder

Volume of cylinder =  π R²h

R = Radius

h = height

Volume of outer cylinder = π * 15² * 7

using π = 22/7

Volume of outer cylinder = 22 * 15²

Volume of inner cylinder =  π * 8² * 7

= 22 * 8²

Volume of Metal Required =  22 * 15² - 22 * 8²

= 22 * 23 * 7

= 3542 cm³

3542 cm³ of metal will be required to form a hollow cylindrical tube
