How many cubic metres of earth must be dug out to sink a well 22.5 m Deep and of diameter 7 m? also find the cost of clustering the inner curved surface at Rest. 3 per square metre​

Diameter=7m

Radius=Diameter/2=7/2

volume of well(cylinder)=volume of earth dug out

πr²h=volume of earth dug out

22/7×7/2×7/2×22.5

=11×7/2×22.5

volume of earth dug out=866.25m³

clustering inner curved surface area=curve surface area of cylinder=2πrh

2×22/7×7/2×22.5

22×22.5

495m²

cost=area×rate

=495×3

1485 Rs
