- A wall is to be construct with length = 20 m, breadth = 3 m and height = 50 cm.
- Edge of each cubical block is 10 cm.
- Number of blocks required to construct a wall.
In the above question, units are different. So, first of all, make it same.
∵ 1 m = 100 cm.
So, Edge of cubical block = 0.1 cm
height of cuboid-shaped wall = 0.5 cm
Now,
→ Volume of cubical block = ( side )³
→ Volume of cuboid-shaped wall = ( length × breadth × height )
Now,
Number of blocks required =
= 30,000
Hence,
30, 000 blocks are required.
