Volume of small cube = 3×3×3

Volume of bigger cube = 15×15×15

No.of cubes required = 15×15×15/3×3×3 = 5×5×5 = 25 cubes.

Given;  cubical blocks whose edge measures 3 cm can be formed by melting a cubic block of metal whose edge is 15 cm

To Find; Number of cubical blocks

Solution; It is given that  cubical blocks whose edge measures

3 cm can be formed by melting a cubic block of

metal whose edge is 15 cm

Edge of cubical block = 15 cm

Edge of new cubical block = 15

The volume of the old cubical block = n * Volume of the new cubical block

15 *15 *15 = n *3*3*3

5*5*5=n

125 = n

Hence the number of cubical blocks formed are 125
