How many degrees are there in a central angle subtended by an arc of length equal to the diameter of circle ? Find area of the corresponding sectors?

1. Since an arc of one radius subtends one radian of central angle, a diameter of arc is twice as long. and would subtext two radians. To convert to degrees, multiply by 180/pi.

2 x 180/ 3.1415926 is approximately 114.6 degrees
