Let the angle be x
Therefore,its supplementary angle would be (180-x)
A.T.Q,
x=1/5 (180-x)
6x=180
x=180/6
x=30

harah: So: x + 1/5 x = 180
harah: or (6/5) x = 180
Saanvipriya: i have already got the answer
harah: or x = 180 (5/6)
Saanvipriya: so leave it
harah: Thus one angle is 150°
and the other is 150/5 = 30°
harah: complete
Saanvipriya: ok
Saanvipriya: thanks
harah: hmm

There are \bold{30^{\circ}}  in an angle of one fifth of the supplementary angle.

Explanation:

Supplementary angle is defined as any one of the angle whose sum is 180^{\circ}

Supplementary angle decides the angle to always be 180^{\circ}  and the complementary angle is always 90^{\circ}  (i.e., right angle).The word supplement itself expresses that something extra is added to it so that it looks extra larger.

Solution:

Let the angle be a. Let the supplementary angle be 180 – a.

\begin{array}{l}{a=\frac{1}{5}(180-a)} \\ {5 a=180-a} \\ {6 a=180} \\ {a=\frac{180}{6}} \\ {a=30^{\circ}}\end{array}
