we know that perimeter of rectangle is
Length + Breadth
so we have to find the set of numbers which by addition provide 24
if we take one
then,
another no should be 23 so till 12 we can make pairs after that repetition starts so answer is 12

6 different rectangles with integral measurements can be taken with perimeter as 24 cm
Solution:
Given,
Perimeter of rectangle = 24 cm
We know,
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L + B)
Where,
L is the length
B is the breadth
Then,
2(L + B) = 24
L + B = 12
Different possible dimensions are:
L B
1 11
2 10
3 9
4 8
5 7
6 6
Thus 6 different rectangles can be formed
