\textbf{Roman Numerals}------------

The number system used in the Roman Language is simply known as Roman Numerical system.

So , let's take a quick review :

⭐ I = 1
⭐ X = 10
⭐ V = 5
⭐ L = 50
⭐ D = 500
⭐ M = 1000.

So , let's take sone examples to learn the basics :

⭐ Let's write 15 in Roman numerals :

[ We can use only 3 same symbols consecutively ]

[ If a smaller symbol is written before a greater symbol , then it is being subtracted from the greater symbol ]

[ If a smaller symbol is written after a greater symbol , then both the symbols are being added. ]

So , 15 = XV [ 10+5 ]

Similarly ..31 would be = XXXI [ 10+10+10+1]

So , it's clear that , to write a number less than 40 in Roman Numerals , the most number of symbols = 4
