How many different types of molecules are known explain?

As per my knowledge, two types :-

● Surface molecules : The molecules on gaining kinetic energy comes near the surface of the state of matter (solid/liquid/gas). One great example is the molecules of a substance during evaporation because evaporation is a surface phenomenon and thus the molecules in the surface of the liquid will start vibrating on gaining kinetic energy.

● Inter-particles or Inner molecules : The molecules which are in the middle or in the inner portion of the substance are called inter particles or inner molecules.
