between 5000 & 7000 using 3 ,4, 5

,6,7,8 .

Solution :

•Clearly , Numbers between 5000 and 7000 are 4 digits Number

so, only 4 digit Numbers greater than 5000 & less than 7000 can be made

•For 1st place only 5,6 can be selected

i.e. 2 digits can be used for first place .

•For 2nd place all the digits can be selected

i.e. 6 digits can be used for Second place

•For 3rd place all the digits can be selected

i.e. 6 digits can be used for Third place

•For 4rth place all the digits can be selected

i.e. 6 digits can be used for fourth place

•So, total Number of ways in which digits can be selected is 2×6×6×6 i.e. 432
