A single electron has a charge of 1.60217733 × 10-19 Coulombs. A collection of6.2415 × 1018electrons has a charge of one Coulomb (1/1.60217733x10-19). 1.6 into 10 raise to power -19 no of electrons are present in one coulomb of charge

1.6×10^-19 coulomb =1 electron

so 1 coulomb =1/1.6×10^-19 electron

=0.625×10^19

=6.25×10^18 electron
