November 7, 2000 visioned the 54th quadrennial presidential election of the United States. The election was won by George Washington Bush by 271 electoral votes. The opposition being the Democratic nominee Al Gore inspite of having the greater number of popular votes lost. Al Gore lost by just 5 electoral vote and gave away the precidential post to George W. Bush.
