how many electrons are present in a n0 3 - charge

veron06645: No. of electron in N=(2+5)where 5 is valence electron,and in O=(3*(2+6))=24 here no of valnce electron is 3*6=18,For -ve charge add..no of electron is +1.Hence total no of electron in NO3- is 7+24+1=32...And no of valence electron is 5+18+1=24
Tanya159: thnku

Using the formula q=ne where n is number of electrons, e is charge on electron and q is charge considered. Q=1C , e= 1.6 X 10^-19 C, n can be calculated n= 0.625x 10^19 => n= 6.25 x 10^ 18 electrons.
