How many electrons can be accomidated in one shell? What is the formula for that? ​

well the formula for electron accodation is 2n^2

where N is the number of shell(s)

therefore the first shell has = 2 electrons

and the second has = 8

third has = 18

and fourth = 32

also the last shell can only accommodate 8 electrons
