Your answer :- Option (b)

17 electrons in an atom with atomic number 105 can have (n + l) = 8

Element is known as dubnium

Reason /Explanation :-

Here the total No of electron in dubnium = 105

The electron in the outhermost shell = { 5f¹⁴,6d³,7s² }

In 5f  by using formula (n + l)

= 5+3
= 8
Also the 14 electrons

In 6d by using formula {n +l}

6+2
= 8
Also the 3 electrons

So Total number of electron, (14 electrons + 3 electrons = 17 electrons )

Hence total number of electrons is 17

Hope it Helps . :-)
