As l ranges from 0 to n-1, where n denotes the shell. When l = 0 then shell is s, when l = 1, then shell is p, and so on.

Since, m = 0, so l = 0 this means that n = s shell.

Therefore, in an argon atom there are two electrons each in 2s and 3s shell. That is, there are total 4 electrons in s shell of argon atom when m = 0.
