How many emissions are possible for an electron in the level as it goes to the ground state?

1st thing is that in G.S atom are not free to move as it bound to nucleus tightly. 2nd thing is that if we want the emission of electrons from G.S, we gave a large amount of energy which is not possible. Hope you understand, if not then comment.
