how many envelops of size 15 cm multiplied by 20 cm can be made out of paper size 4 m into 6 m

• Length of the paper
= 4 m
= 4 × 100 cm
= 400 cm

• Breadth of the paper
= 6 m
= 6 × 100 cm
= 600 cm

• Length of envelope
= 15 cm

• Breadth of envelope
= 20 cm



Now, area is paper -

= length × breadth
= 400 × 600
= 240000 cm²


And, area of 1 envelope -

= 15 × 20
= 300 cm²



So, number of envelopes that can be made out of the paper

= Area of paper/area of 1 envelope
= 240000/300
= 800.
