First of all, this topic is quite sensitive. I'm not offending anybody, but this is my opinion.

The number of gods and their reality can't be justified.. people of different faiths believe that their god/gods is/are real. Monotheistic religions like Islam and Christianity worship one god each, whereas Polytheistic religions worship a number of gods. And their reality is not proved, if we say that a particular religion's god is real then it would hurt other religion's sentiments.
