Diameter of an oxygen atom when lined up- 0.146 nm (approx.)(nano meters)

So in a row of 1 nm there are

0.146 nm/ 1 nm = 6.84 Rounding off = 7 atoms

Covalent radius of oxygen in single bonded state= 73 pm(pico meters)

So it's diameter = 73×2= 146 pm

And 146 pm= 0.146 nm
