How many grams is 23 moles of methane?

Here is your answer,

Given: Number of moles = 23

Methane Formula => CH4

Weight of Methane

= 1(12) + 4(1)

= 16g

We Know that,

number \: of \: moles  =  \frac{given \: weight}{gram \: molecuar \: weight \: of \: molecule}

So as per the formula,

23 =  \frac{x}{16}  \\  \\ x = 23 \times 16 \\  \\ x = 368 \: grams
