Hey there,

Well we will calculate the numbers of atoms in terms of moles where,

1 mole=6.022*10
²³

Mole=Given mass/Molecular mass

Moles in Aluminium=40.5/27             [Mass of Al=27]

=1.5 moles  Now, since number of atoms in Aluminium and magnesium is same, so the number of moles will remain same.

Moles of Magnesium=1.5=x/24       [Mass of Mg=24]

x=1.5*24

=36 grams
