Answer:

Given :- Let C.P. = ₹x

On selling at ₹900, Profit = ₹(900-x)

On selling at ₹450, Loss = ₹(x-450)

To Find :- S.P.

Solution :-

As per the given condition,

900 - x = 2(x - 450) \\ 900 - x = 2x - 900 \\ 900 + 900 = 2x + x \\ 3x = 1800 \\ x =  \frac{1800}{3}  \\ x = 600

∴ C.P. = ₹600

Profit = 25%

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 600 +  \frac{25}{100}  \times 600 \\  \:  \:  \: = 600 + 150 \\  = 750

Hence, S.P. = ₹750
