Reaction for the following question is
C8H18 +25/2 O2 = 8CO2 +9H20
SO 1 MOLE OF OCTANE REACTS WITH 25 /2 MOLES OF O2
As 570 g is 5 moles of octane
Hence 5 moles willl react with 25/2 ×5 = 62.5 moles
Hence 570 g of octane reacts with 62.5 moles i.e. 62.5 × 32 =2000g of oxygen

2 mole Octane reacts with 25 mol Oxygen. So,5 mole Octane reacted with ( 252×5mol 25 2 × 5 m o l ) = 62.5 mol Oxygen. Answer : So, 2000 g of oxygen are required to react with 570 g of octane.
