Explanation:

Given : 2L of 24% sulfuric acid solution

Density = 1.25%g/ml

Find : Grams of sulfuric acid in solution

Solution :

Volume = 2L

= 2000ml

 density = \frac{mass}{volume}

mass = density \times volume

mass = 2000 \times 1.25

mass = 2500gm

24% of 2500gm is ;

  = \frac{24 \times 2500}{100}

 = 600gm

Answer: 600gm of sulfuric acid is present in 2L of 24% sulfuric acid solution.
