How many grams of zinc is required to be reacted with dilute sulfuric acid to produce 45 liters of hydrogen at stp?

Zn + H2SO4 → ZnSO4 + H2

Therefore, 1 mole of zinc reacts to give 1 mole of hydrogen

Volume of 1 mole of hydrogen at STP is 22400 ml 

1 mole of Zn is 65 grams

Therefore 0.65 grams of zinc reacts to give 224 ml of hydrogen
