there are seven cell and eight nuclei in the embryo sac from 8 nuclei, 3 haploid antipotal cell, 2 haploid synergid cell and one haploid egg cell in the egg apparatus... a diplod secondary nucelus in the central cell

There are eight haploid cells present in a mature female gametophyte of a flowering plant.Among them 3 are antipodal cells, 2 synergid cells, 1 egg cell and 2 nuclei get joined to form one central cell.
