Fe³⁺ + e⁻ ⇄ Fe²⁻
Here it is clear that one mole of Fe³⁺ gain one mole of electrons to produce one mole of Fe²⁺ .
So, for 3 mole of Fe³⁺ to Fe²⁺, 3mole of elections is require.

Also we know , 1 mole of electrons is equivalent with 96500 C
so, 3 mole of electrons = 3 × 96500C
e.g., charge , Q = 289500C

∵ Q = It
Here, I is current and t is time taken.
289500 = 2 × t
t = 144750 sec = 40.2 hrs

Hence, answer is 40.2 hrs
