If you are starting now, 1 hr a day should be enough if you are fully focused.
I passed 10th recently and i missed the cutoff by 2 marks.
tips:
1. Read concepts of 10th and 11th class.
2.Pay a lot of attention to social studies of 9th and 10th. These will fetch many marks if you remember details. I made a mistake of neglecting social studies.
3. Practice mental ability/reasoning everyday
