volume of ice tray=6×8×12
number of ice cubes that can fit=6×8×12/27

hope it helped!!

!!!

given side of the ice cube = 3cm

therefore it's volume = side^3

= 3 * 3 * 3

= 27cm^3

dimensions of the ice tray is given 6cm * 8cm * 12cm

therefore volume of the ice tray = 6 * 8 * 12

= 576cm^3

no. of ice cubes can be fit in the in the ice tray = 576/27

= 21.33 (approx)

hence 21 ice cubes can be fit in the ice tray.
