Hey friend
here is your answer

as \: the \: no. \: of \: images \: formed \: = \frac{360}{ \alpha } - 1\\ the \: no. \: of \: images \: formed \: = \frac{360}{90} - 1 \\ the \: no. \: of \: images \: formed \: = 4 - 1 = 3
as there are three mirrors mutually perpendicular to each other, so no. of images formed = 9.

glad to help you
hope it helps
thank you.

Answer:

6

Explanation:

By regular methods we can deduce that the number of images that are supposed to form are 9 but we are forgetting about one key component, overlap of images.

If we were to draw the circles in which the images are supposed to form using the three mirrors, we would get that there are 3 intersecting points, meaning the images overlap on those 3 points. (so we get -3)

therefore answer is 9-3 = 6, notice that I haven't added an image as it is not clear whether the object is been placed at the center or anywhere between the space of mirrors.
