When an object is placed between two plane mirrors parallel to each other then infinite number of images are formed.
Hence infinite number of images will be formed.

Infinite images will be formed.

  • So, let's assume that an object is placed in the middle of two parallely placed plane mirror.

  • Now, the angle between the mirrors is zero (0°).

So, the number of images will be :

 \therefore \: m = \dfrac{ {360}^{ \circ} }{ {0}^{ \circ} } = \infty

  • This is usually experienced when we visit barber shops for hair cut. There are two such parallel mirrors. When we sit on a chair in between the mirrors, we get to see infinite images of us being formed.

Hope It Helps
