As of 2015, the Indian population in the U.S. has increased exponentially over the past few years (10.5% annual growth) to become the second largest population group after China with 3,982,000 Indian-Americans. This constitute only the direct Indians population whereas there is another 4 million coming under mixed race Indian-American category.
