How many isosceles triangle with integers sides are possible such that sum of its side is 19​

Total 12 such isosceles triangles are possible. Here the sum of 2 equal sides is not = 19. Because in that case, each side length will not be an integer.

=> the sum of third side & one of the equal sides = 19

& since the sum of any 2 sides of a triangle > third side.

So side measures will be as follows…

18, 1, 18

17, 2, 17

16, 3, 16

15, 4, 15

14, 5, 14

13, 6, 13

12, 7, 12

11, 8, 11

10, 9, 10

Remaining 3 triangles will are..

12, 7, 7

11, 8, 8

10, 9, 9

Total= 9+3 = 12 triangles.
