The ICJ (International Court of Justice) has Fifteen judges. Their tenure(term of office) is Nine Years long.

The Court has two functions: To settle international disputes between countries,  legal disputes submitted by States and To give advice on legal questions referred to it by authorized UN organs and specialized agencies.
