Correct answer is 97.1 kg

Unbalanced:

NaCl + CaSO₄ → Na₂SO₄ + CaCl₂

Balanced:

2NaCl + CaSO₄ → Na₂SO₄ + CaCl₂

→ 1 mole of NaCl weighs = 23 g + 35.5 g

→ 1 mole of NaCl weighs = 58.5 gram

→ 2 moles of NaCl weigh = 58.5 gram × 2

→ 2 moles of NaCl weigh = 117g or 0.117 kg

→ 1 mole of Na₂SO₄ = 23 × 2 + 32 + 16 × 4

→ 1 mole of Na₂SO₄ = 142 g or 0.142 kg

→ 0.117 kg of NaCl = 0.142 kg of Na₂SO₄

→ 1 kg of NaCl = 0.142/0.117 kg of Na₂SO₄

→ 80 kg of NaCl = 0.142/0.117 × 80

→ 80 kg of NaCl = 97.1 kg of Na₂SO₄

Hence 97.1 kgs of Na₂SO₄ are produced
