Answer:

49.5 kL

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the tank = 5.5 m

Breadth of the tank = 4 m

Height of the tank = 2.25 m

Therefore, Volume of the tank = Length X Breadth X Height

                                                   = 5.5 m x 4 m x 2.25 m

                                                   = 49.5 cubic metres

1 m = 100 cm

Therefore, 1 m x 1 m x 1 m = 100 cm x 100 cm x 100 cm

   1 cubic metre = 1,000,000 cubic centimetre

   1 cubic metre = 1,000,000 mL (Because, 1 cubic centimetre = 1mL) ......(i)

                 1 kL = 1000 L

                 1 kL = 1000 x 1000 mL (Because, 1 L = 1000 mL)

                 1 kL = 1,000,000 mL                                                            .......(ii)

From (i) and (ii), we get:

 1 cubic metre = 1 kL

Therefore, 49.5 cubic metres = 49.5 kL

                               Hope you find this helpful.
