Electricity is one of the finest inventions in our lives. Everything and anything that we see runs on one or the other form of electricity. Electricity is a concept that many are unfamiliar with. Electricity for such people is to switch the button on, the appliance starts to work, switch the button off and that’s it. The importance is understood when the electricity goes off.

There are two main types of electricity, Static Electricity, generated by rubbing two or more objects causing to build up friction, Current Electricity, generated by the flow of electrical charge through a conductor across an electrical field.

Types of electrification in nature are as follows:

In nature, we had two kinds of electrification.

Current electricity and Static electricity.

• Static electricity is produced by the rubbing of two things. If we can rub two or more things friction is build up between them. This is called static electricity.

• Current electricity is referred to as the flow of current through a cross-sectional wire or conductor this is called current electricity.

• This is classified into two systems DC current system and AC current system.
