because of rich diversity there are so many languages but our constitution has proven only 22 languages that are hindi, assamese, gujrati, bengali, kannad, kashmiri, konkadi, malyalam, manipuri, marathi, nepali, udiya, punjabi, sanskrit, urdu, sindhi, tamil, telgu, bodo, dogri, maithali and santhali
