there are three laws of motion
(I) - a body at rest will remain at rest and a body in motion will continue in motion in a straight line with a uniform speed unless it is compelled by an external force to change its state of rest or of uniform motion
(II) the rate of change of momentum of a body is directly proportional to the applied force and takes place in the direction in which the force acts
(III) every action has an equal and opposite reaction

There are three laws of motion:

1. First law of motion is law of inertia. In this the body should be in rest or in motion.

2. Second law of motion is law of momentum

3. Third law of motion is law of action and reaction. It states that " every action has equal and opposite reaction".

Hope this answer will help you.
