There Are 3 Laws Of Exponents:

1st Law:(Product Law)

 {a}^{m}  \times  {a}^{n}  \\  = {a}^{m + n}

Example

 {a}^{2}  \times  {a}^{6}   \\ =  {a}^{2 + 6}   \\ =  {a}^{8}

2nd Law:(Quotient Law)

 \frac{a^{n} }{a^{m} }  \\  =  {a}^{m - n}

Example

 \frac{a^{4} }{a ^ {2} }  \\  \\ =   {a}^{4 - 2}  \\  =  {a}^{2}

3rd Law:(Power Law)

 ({a}^{m} )^{n}  \\   =  {a}^{mn}

Example

( {a}^{3} )^{4}  \\  =  {a}^{3 \times 4}  \\  =  {a}^{12}
