The solution needs a simple approach that the volume of both the balls needs to be divided by each other to find the number of balls.

EXPLANATION

No. of balls= volume of big ball/ volume of small ball.

we know that volume of a spere

=> 4/3πr^3

now

the volume of the ball with radius 8cm

=> 4/3π8×8×8_______(1)

the volume of the ball with radius 1cm

=> 4/3π1×1×1________(2)

dividing eq (1) & (2)

we get,

=> (8×8×8)/(1×1×1)

=> 512/1

=> 512

512 Balls of the 1cm radius can be made using the ball of 8 cm radius.
