let the radius of the small lead ball be 4 cm.

given that d of big lead sphere=40 cm

therefore r= 20 cm

vol of big sphere= 4/3 pi r ^3

                             = 4/3* pi*20*20*20

vol of small sphere = 4/3 pi r ^3

                                = 4/3 pi *4*4*4

no. of lead balls = vol of big sphere/ vol of small sphere

                             = 4/3 pi *20*20*20/  4/3 pi *4*4*4

                            =125
