If the three points are collinear then only one line is possible and if the three points are not collinear then three lines are possible.

• Let,there are three points which are named as A,B and C.

• Now,there are two possibilities :

1) A,B and C are collinear points.

2) A,B and C are not collinear points.

• For,the first possibility,only one straight line can intersect all the three points. So,only one straight line will be possible.

• For,the second possibility,three separate straight lines can connect the three points by making a triangle. So,three straight lines will be possible in this case.
