How many liters of a 10% alcohol solution and how many liters of a 20 alcohol solution must be mixed together to make 10 liters of a 12 % alcohol solution

Equation:

alch + alch = alch

0.10x + 0.20*12 = 0.14(x+12)

10x + 20*12 = 14x + 14*12

-----

-4x = -6*12

----

x = 18 liters (amt. of 10% solution needed)
