Given:

The molarity of the acetic acid solution = 6M

To Find:

The number of liters of the solution that contain 0.0030 moles of acetic acid

Solution:

0.005 liters of 6.0 M solution of acetic acid contains 0.0030 moles of acetic acid.

We know that the molarity of a solution gives the number of moles of solute that are present in 1 L of the solution.

⇒ In the 6M solution, 6 moles of CH₃COOH are present in 1 L of the given solution.

So 1 mole of  CH₃COOH is present in 1/6 L of the solution.

Multiplying both sides by 0.0030,

It can be concluded that 0.0030 moles of acetic acid are present in 0.0030 / 6 L of the solution

= 1/200 L

= 0.005 liters
